Site Specific Room Booking Settings

Please note that your subscription plan determines the specific set of features available to you, which may result in differences between what you see and the images presented in this article. For further details on the features included in your plan, please contact your OfficeSpace Admin.
 

Site Specific Room Booking settings allow you to override your Global Room Booking Settings and modify the limits and restrictions on bookable rooms, for a particular location.

You must be a System Admin to access the Site Specific Room Booking Settings dashboard.

Locating the Site Specific Room Booking Settings

From the Hamburger menu, select Facilities

The Manage Site screen opens. Locate the desired site from the list and select the Site Name.

The Edit Site screen then opens. Scroll down to Room Booking Settings and select the Override Global Room Booking Settings toggle. When you toggle this option on, a new list of settings appears underneath.

 

Modifying Site Specific Room Booking Settings

Using the Site Specific Room Booking Settings, you are able to override the Global Room Booking Settings for the following configurations:

Default Booking Length
Room Booking Check-In

After you have set the Site Specific settings to your preference, select Update to save your settings.

Note that any changes made to these settings will not affect existing bookings, only upcoming bookings.

Default Booking Length

Default Booking Length allows you to set the default duration of room bookings. Select the dropdown to choose the amount of time you’d like to set as the default.

Room Booking Check-In

Room Booking Check-In settings allows you to set the length of the check-in window for bookings.

It is important to remember that this setting only applies to rooms that require check in.

The Check-in window start time will determine the maximum amount of time before a booking start time that a user can check in. Any booking that is created during the check-in window will be automatically checked in.

The Check-in window end time is how long after the booking begins that a user is still able to check in. Any booking not confirmed before the end of the check-in window will be automatically canceled.
